When we at Fundamental Primary Sports Coaching join a school, we want to become part of the school team. We believe this makes a more authoritative figure for the children to respect as well as creating strong positive relationships with all school staff.
After School Sports Clubs
Tailored to the needs of the school, from inclusive clubs for a variety of year groups and different sports or setting up a club to form a competitive team.
Support for the PE Coordinator
We have always worked closely with the PE coordinator to offer as much support as possible from helping design and update PE boards, look to achieving sports awards Help pick and organise sports teams, plan out events to take part in throughout the calendar year. Take audits of equipment. Help produce action plans, child/staff voice interviews, produce progression maps and everything that comes with an OFSTED deep dive.
Sports Day
We have successfully planned and delivered sports days for multiple schools receiving amazing feedback from school staff, children, and parents.
CPD
We are always happy to help staff improve their teaching of PE if they want/need it. Working in previous schools we would help staff over a half term, by first having them watch us teach, then work alongside the teacher to plan and teach a lesson and finally observe a lesson taught by a teacher and offer my feedback.
